Responsibilities
Tasks
• Install, program, verify, inspect, and maintain commercial and residential networking systems, alarm systems, access control systems, intercoms, and other communication systems.
• Inspect and test telecommunication transmission characteristics and accurately locate system faults.
• Conduct detailed site surveys prior to installation to assess requirements and ensure proper system design.
• Read, interpret, and apply technical specifications, programming guides, schematics, installation manuals, and service documentation.
• Respond promptly to service calls and provide effective technical support and troubleshooting to customers.
• Complete inspection, testing, and service reports accurately and return them within required timelines.
• Provide operational training and guidance to end-users to ensure proper and safe system usage.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members and other trades to ensure efficient preparation and timely completion of work assignments.
